pyphi.substrate#

Represents the substrate of interest.

This is the primary object of PyPhi and the context of all φ and Φ computation.

Functions

all_sias(substrate, state[, candidates, ...])

Return SIAs for every candidate system of the substrate.

complexes(substrate, state[, candidates])

Return the complexes of the substrate in its current state.

irreducible_purviews(cm, direction, ...)

Return all purviews which are irreducible for the mechanism.

irreducible_sias(substrate, state[, candidates])

Return candidate SIAs with φₛ > 0.

maximal_complex(substrate, state[, candidates])

Return the complex with maximum φₛ over the substrate.

possible_complexes(substrate, state, **kwargs)

Return a generator of systems of a substrate that could be a complex.

reachable_systems(substrate, indices, state, ...)

A generator over all systems in a valid state.

systems(substrate, state, **kwargs)

Return a generator of all possible systems of a substrate.

Classes

Substrate([tpm, cm, node_labels, marginals, ...])

A substrate of nodes.
