pyphi.formalism#
Phi formalisms — strategies for computing integrated information.
A formalism is a version of IIT expressed as a strategy object: it bundles
the version’s partition scheme, distance measure, and the algorithms that
combine them into mechanism-level RIAs, system-level SIAs, and Φ-structures.
The pyphi.formalism.base.PhiFormalism Protocol declares the contract.
pyphi.formalism.iit4 implements IIT; pyphi.formalism.iit3
implements IIT 3.0, to reproduce published results (see
Reproduce results from earlier versions of IIT). The configuration field
config.formalism.iit.version holds the name of the version in use.
