pyphi.mcp.server.inspect#

pyphi.mcp.server.inspect(result_ref, path='')[source]#

Inspect a stored result, or one part of it.

Parameters:
  • result_ref (str) – A result_ref returned by analyze.

  • path (str) – Which part to inspect. Empty (the default) returns the result’s summary and the paths that can be inspected. Otherwise a dotted, optionally indexed path into the result, e.g. "sia", "ces", "ces.distinctions[0]", "ces.relations".

Returns:

dict – With no path: the result’s type, compact repr and summary (as analyze returns it), the inspectable paths, and indexed, mapping each sequence’s path to its length (inspect "<path>[i]"; an empty path is the result itself). With a path: the compact repr of the selected object and, when it supports it, its serialization, unless that is longer than 50,000 characters. Relation aggregates (counts, Σφ_r) come from PyPhi’s analytical path, which does not enumerate every relation.

Return type:

dict[str, Any]
